NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — In a little over a month daylight saving time will begin, promising more sunlight and longer days.
As of Feb. 1, there are 38 days until daylight saving time which begins on March 10, 2024.
The clocks will “spring forward” an hour at 2 a.m., and electronic devices will automatically be set to 3 a.m. while non-digital clocks will have to be manually changed.
The days will grow longer until the summer solstice on June 20.
Once daylight saving time begins, New Yorkers can look forward to Manhattanhenge which occurs around May 29 through July 13, according to the American Museum of Natural History.
