PROSPECT PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Bring your appetite and sample beyond delicious food from around the world. That’s the idea behind Smorgasburg, and it’s now back in a big way this month.
Fridays at the World Trade Center, Saturdays at Williamsburg and Sundays in Prospect Park.
It’s been called the Woodstock of eating. Smorgasburg is the largest weekly open-air food market in the country.
It started in Williamsburg in 2011–hence the mashup of the words–smorgasbord and Williamsburg.
And it just grew and grew and grew.
