MASSAPEQUA PARK, Long Island (PIX11) – There will be road closures in Massapequa Park Thursday and Friday during fallen NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller’s wake, according to Nassau County police.

Visitations will be held at Massapequa Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Whitewood Drive from Merrick Road to Nassau Street will remain closed to traffic from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on both days, police said.

Drivers should expect heavier than usual traffic on Merrick Road between Polo Road and Unqua Road during the time frame, according to authorities.

Diller was shot and killed Monday after he approached a gray SUV illegally parked at a bus stop in Far Rockaway, Queens. Guy Rivera, 34, is accused of shooting Diller in the stomach below his bullet-proof vest.

Diller’s funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Massapequa. A GoFundMe for Diller’s family has raised over $460,000, as of Thursday morning.
