MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Thai Fest kicks off this weekend, for those looking to add a new New York City food festival to their docket.
The city’s first-ever Thai Fest promises a taste of Thailand’s unique food culture, according to organizers. The festival begins on Saturday and will located on 6th Avenue between 29th and 30th Streets.
Attendees can expect delicious meals such as Crab Fried Rice from Fish Cheeks, spicy KraPow from Mayree, savory Fried Meatballs from Sappe, rich Khao Soi from Soothr, and crispy Fried Chicken from Somtum Der, classic Pad Thai from Rua Thai, sweet Mango Sticky Rice from Zabb PuTawn, flavorful Garlic Noodle from Obao, and tangy Tom Yum Ramen from 11Tigers.
Thai Fest is the sister brand of Dragon Fest, the city’s largest Chinese food festival and the organizers hope to continue promoting Asian American and Pacific Islander cultural exchange and appreciation.
