MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday revealed renderings of a new skyscraper planned for Midtown Manhattan.
A 62-story office building is planned to be built at 350 Park Ave. The project is expected to be completed by 2032, according to the mayor’s office.
The privately-financed skyscraper is expected to begin New York City’s public review process in early 2025.
Citadel and Citadel Securities would be the anchor tenants, occupying a significant portion of the building, city officials said.
“I am excited to partner with Vornado and Rudin to build a new, iconic office tower for our growing team at the most sought-after address on Park Avenue,” Kenneth Griffin, Citadel founder and CEO, said in a statement.
The skyscraper is designed by architecture firm Foster + Partners. The building would also include a 12,500-square-foot public concourse on the ground floor featuring social seating, green space and art displays.
