NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Rain is expected to pour continuously on Saturday, bringing an excessive amount of rain to localized areas.

Flood Watches have been issued across the region starting early Saturday morning. Along with street flooding, the rivers in New Jersey may become an issue as they may go over their banks once again.

Strong gusts are also to be expected with this storm system, and a possible crack of thunder later in the day.

Temperatures will be rather consistent this weekend and into next week as well, sitting in the 40s and 50s. Showers are looking to continue late next week as well, clearing out before the weekend.
