MOUNT HOPE, the Bronx (PIX11) -- Two boys under the age of 3 are dead and both parents are in custody, police confirmed to PIX11 News on Saturday.

Police sources told PIX11 that the boys were found dead in a bathtub, stabbed by an unknown object and that only the mother is being held as a suspect. A Neighbor told PIX11 the boys were 1 and 3 years old.

“I heard the father screaming in the hallways, 'Help me! Help me!' That when he brought the two boys, lifeless, covered in blood," said Shannon Holifield, a neighbor of the family. "It's horrible...I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight...it's very sad."
